"Kill It With Fire" is a poster series that highlights common struggles designers face. From creative burnout, to imposter syndrome, to uncertainties related to AI, this series is meant to aggressively reassure designers that everything will be okay and to take back your agency.
First poster of the series introduces a broken laptop being set on fire with molotovs. The broken laptop symbolizes creative burnout, the imagery of the molotov setting the laptop on fire tells the viewer to counterintuitively "burn" the burnout. Forget the pressure and find what will reignite your flame.
The second poster in the series tackles imposter syndrome. It uses a medical diagram of a lobotomy to illustrate the part of our mind that is holding us back: self-doubt, fear, overwhelming thoughts. The second poster in the series tells you to "lobotomize" that part of your mind with love.
The third and final poster in the series looks at AI and how its upbringing and evolution has created a scare in new creatives who are about the enter the industry. While there are some people who will tell you that AI will replace you, it's important to remember that AI replaced itself every day. You are unique, your creativity is yours and yours alone, and human ideas are bulletproof.
